On the beach at Felpham near the Yacht Club, there is a chalk outcrop which provides homes for a number of marine species that are normally found on a rocky coast.
Felpham Beach is good for investigating:
- Rocky shore creatures
- Shoreline habitats
- Coastal erosion and sea defences
- Crafts using beach materials
- Human impact on the environment
